(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington will play host to four national softball tournaments over the next two weekends, including the American Softball Association’s Under 12 Fast Pitch Northern National Championships Friday-Sunday.
This weekend's tournament will feature 38 Class A and Class B teams, coming from nine states, at Twin Lakes Sports Park and Winslow Sports Complex.
Opening ceremonies will be 5 p.m. tonight at Twin Lakes, 2350 W. Bloomfield Road.
Tournament play begins at 8 a.m. Friday.
Teams from Bloomington and Ellettsville will be participating at the tournament.
