(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman suffered minor injuries in an accident Wednesday afternoon in a parking lot of 17th Street.
According to a Bedford Police report Atina Drake, 56, of 3 Groundhog Road, was backing her 2010 Chrysler Town and Country westward out of a parking space at the same time as 65-year-old Brenda Melvin, of 1215 24th St. was backing eastward in her 2011 Ford Spectra.
The two vehicles collided. Both women told police they did not see the other.
Melvin complained of elbow and wrist pain, but refused medical attention.
