(BEDFORD) The Bedford Fire Department is investigating two suspicious fires that were set Tuesday.
The first fire was started just behind the Hideaway on J Street.
According to Bedford Fire Chief Jon Wagner firefighters found several cross ties on fire.
Then later firefighters were called to a second fire at 1021 J street where firefighters discovered a mattress on fire.
Wagner believes the same person set both fires.
Anyone with information about the fires is asked to call the fire department or the Bedford Police Department.
