(BEDFORD) - The Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County is hosting the first annual Becky Skillman Leadership Institute on Friday, July 12.
The event is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club.
U. S. Congressman Lee Hamilton is giving the keynote address. U.S. Senator Dan Coats is the featured luncheon speaker.
In addition, there will be a panel discussion facilitated by Mayor Shawna Girgis, and former Marine and Colts spokesperson Josh Bleill will give the closing remarks.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County.
Sponsorships are still available for $1,000 for platinum and $500 for gold.
Sponsors for the event are: Bedford Public Library, Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Bedford, Crane Federal Credit Union, German American, Lawrence County Economic Growth Council, Dr. Jim Sowders, STIMULUS Engineering and Times-Mail.
Tickets are available for $50, and seating is limited.
Deadline to register is July 10.
