Brown County Man Arrested For Living In Condemned Building

Last updated on Saturday, July 20, 2013

(NASHVILLE) - A Brown County man was arrested Thursday morning by deputies with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department for living in a condemned building in Nashville.

Sheriff Rick Followell says at 8:20 a.m. members of the Brown County Sheriff's Office and representatives of the Brown County Health Department found 51-year-old Jerry Lee Terrill of Nashville living inside the building located at 212 W. Main St.

Officials condemned the building with an order for those living inside to vacate in 2011.

Sheriff Followell says that Terrill was arrested for violation of that order, a Class B misdemeanor, and transported to the Brown County Jail.
