Wells Elected To Council For Affordable And Rural Housing Board Of Directors

(SALEM) - Natalie Wells, Director of Community Housing Development for Hoosier Uplands has been elected to the Council for Affordable and Rural Housing Board of Directors.

It is a national non-profit organization that solely represents the needs of the entire rural housing industry. CARH represents the views and concerns of its members before Congress and appropriate officials at the Department of Agriculture, Department of Housing & Urban Development, Department of Treasury and before State Finance Authorities that focus on the housing industry.

Wells has been with Hoosier Uplands since 1999. She is the current President of the Affordable Housing Association of Indiana. She resides in Jeffersonville and works out of the Hoosier Uplands Salem office.

"We are proud to have Natalie serve in the capacity on the national level," says David Miller, Hoosier Uplands Chief Executive Officer. "I am sure she will bring a lot to the table for CARH and will also bring back valuable information to Indiana and Hoosier Uplands."
