(MILLTOWN) - Authorities say a 16-year-old girl drowned in the Blue River near the Crawford County town of Milltown Tuesday when she tried to swim across it near a small dam.
Officers say she was caught in the current. The girl's body was found about a half mile downstream.
Other information about the victim wasn't immediately released.
