(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Relay for Life, the annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, kicks off tonight at the Parkview track and continues through Saturday morning.
The following is a list of events planned at Relay for Life:
5 p.m. Team set-up and registration at north gate
5:30 p.m. Concession stand opens
6 p.m. Survivor tent opens, dinner sponsored by St. Vincent Dunn Hospital, campsite judging in Survivor Tent, Kids Corner with The Voice, photo booths, inflatables, face-painting and chair massages by Z Spa
7 p.m. Opening ceremony with the welcome by Tammy Smith, prayer by Pastor Mark McDaniel, national anthem by Mayor Shawna Girgis, youth lap led by Haley Jenkins, survivor lap led by grand marshal Dumon McCain and the caregiver lap.
8:30 p.m. Yoga with Connie Wilson.
9 p.m. Mitchell High School and Mitchell Junior High School dance teams perform.
10 p.m. Luminaria ceremony.
11 p.m. Photo scavenger hunt.
Midnight Hoop dance with Clara Kellner.
12:30 a.m. Twister.
1 a.m. Duck Dynasty lap.
1:30 a.m. Minute to Win It.
2 a.m. Hat lap.
2:30 a.m. Minute to Win It.
3 a.m. Clown nose lap.
3:30 a.m. Minute to Win It.
4 a.m. Musical chairs.
4:30 a.m. Minute to Win It.
5 a.m. Sunglass lap.
5:30 a.m. Minute to Win It.
6 a.m. Cupcake walk (Here Comes the Sun ... Lil Darlin').
6:30 a.m. Hokey Pokey lap.
7 a.m. Yoga.
7:30 a.m. Walk backwards lap.
8 a.m. Three-legged race lap.
9 a.m. Closing ceremony.
