Four Springville Residents Injured In Crash

(SPRINGVILLE) - Four Springville residents were injured after an accident Saturday morning on Sieboldt Quarry Road.

According to a Lawrence County Police reports, 31-year-old Nathanael Montgomery, of Springville, was traveling east on Sieboldt Quarry Road in a 2002 Dodge passenger car near the intersection of Anderson and Gas Line roads when Sylvia Pritchett, driving a 2002 Dodge failed to stop and turned east onto Sieboldt Quarry Road in front of Montgomery's car.

The collision caused Montgomery's vehicle to flip and slide off the south side of Seiboldt Quarry Road hitting a sign post. The car stopped against a fence post.

Nathanael, suffered minor bleeding to his arm and elbow. His passengers, 7-year-old Evalynn Montgomery suffered a contusion to her stomach, 3-year-old Ethan Montgomery had a contusion to his head and 6-year-old Eliana Montgomery had minor bleeding to her arm.

Pritchett, who was not injured, was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
