(MITCHELL) - Bedford First Assembly’s Open Air Encounters is inviting kids to Connect A Kid To The Outdoors event on July 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will be held at the Sugar Creek Sporting Clays located on Sportsman Club Road in Mitchell.
Kids from 9 to 15-year-old can participate in the free event.
Children will learn archery, sheet shooting, water, gun and hunter safety, fishing, and much more. Lunch will be free and there will be door prizes and other events held by the Department of Natural Resources and others.
All equipment will be provided.
Deadline to sign up is July 7. Children who participate will receive a free t-shirt. Spots are limited to the first 35 participants.
