Churches To Raise Funds For Survivors Of Fatal Crash

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Nazarene churches are hosting a fundraising event Saturday for Tessa Finney, 11, one of the survivors of the April 10 fatal wreck that killed three people on Mitchell Road.

Tessa is the niece of one of the organizers, Jennifer Flynn.

The event will start at 11 a.m. and continue until 8 p.m.

Events include a cornhole tournament, a motorcycle ride, a bake sale, a silent auction and children's activities.

For the motorcycle ride, register at 10 a.m. at JayC's parking lot. The cost is $10 for a single and $15 for a couple.

Donuts will be provided by Magic Morning Bakery. Smokin' Jim's Bar-B-Q will provide food.

Music for the day includes Building Nations, Steve Terry Band, Mark Vice, Fearless Delivery and Sherry Burton.

The fundraiser will be at Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene in Judah.
