(PAOLI) - Casey Brewster has been named the new superintendent of Paoli Community Schools.
Brewster has served as Paoli High School principal since August 2010. Before that he had been the assistant high school principal and earlier was elementary school principal in Paoli.
The board voted 4-3 Monday night to hire Brewster for the position, with board members Bill McDonald, Gary Jones, Chris Boyer and Scott Blankenbaker voting yes and Julie Hopper, Peggy Manship and Gary Owens voting no.
Brewster's contract will become effective July 1. Current superintendent Vic Combs announced in March he would retire effective June 30.
