Bedford Man Injured After Crashing Motorcycle

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured when he swerved to miss a deer and crashed his motorcycle on U.S. 50 East, Sunday night.

57-year-old Bradley Brown, of 1919 Sixth St., complained of chest pain.

According to a Bedford Police report, Brown was traveling west on U.S. 50 East near Leatherwood Road on his 2009 Suzuki DRZ400 motorcycle when the deer ran in front of him.

Brown avoiding a collision with the deer, lost control of the motorcycle causing the bike to slide across the pavement.

Brown told police he did not hit the deer.

Two witnesses to the crash, told police they saw Brown wreck the motorcycle, but didn't see the deer.
