(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested Friday night after he crashed his car into a parked vehicle and then fled on foot.
According to a Bedford Police 33-year-old Jason Todd, of 3125 First Street, was traveling south on J Street in a 2004 Suzuki Forenza.
Police say as Todd was approaching the intersection of 8th Street he rear ended a parked 1999 Dodge Ram truck, belonging to Cecil York.
According to police, after crashing into the truck, Todd got out of his car and ran from the scene. Police stopped Todd a short distance from the crash.
He was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident and open container.
