(NASHVILLE) - 55-year-old Samuel Sallee is being held in the Brown County Jail accused of murdering four people in Waynesville.
He is the prime suspect in the May 11 shooting of Katheryn Burton, Thomas Smith, Aaron Cross and Shawn Burton.

Sallee listed his address as 380 Parkway Drive, Columbus and Indiana State Police investigators were scene at that home on May 13 and 14 collecting evidence.
Sallee told police he was at the house that day to chat with one of the victims about a garage sale, but that he left several hours before the slayings.
had been shot multiple times, and Katheryn Burton had also been stabbed. Authorities found meth in the home and say the crime likely was drug-related.
Sheriff Mark Gorbett said that authorities initially thought two suspects were involved, but that Sallee became the lone suspect within a few days of the slayings.
Sallee has not yet been charged with murder, but the Bartholomew County prosecutor's office is expected to file charges against him sometime soon.
