Williams Man Injured During Motorcycle Accident

(BEDFORD) - A Williams man was injured after his motorcycle was hit at the intersection of State Road 158 and 450 Sunday morning.

According to a Bedford Police report 55-year-old Ernest D. Hall was traveling east on State Road 158 and was approaching State Road 450 when his 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle was hit by a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am driven by 16-year-old Abigail E. Rainey, of 5628 U.S. 50 East. Rainey was attempting to make a left turn onto State Road 450 when she failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the path of Hall's motorcycle.

Hall, who was thrown from the motorcycle suffered a head injury and possible fractures. Rainey was not injured, but was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

Assistant at the scene was Bedford Fire Department firefighters and a St.Vincent Dunn ambulance crew.
