Two People Injured In Accident On Ind. 37 At Avoca Exit

(AVOCA) - Two people were injured in a 2-vehicle collision on Ind. 37 at the Avoca exit Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 25-year-old Larry Mann, of Bloomington was traveling north on Ind. 37 when a tan vehicle swerved in front of his 1999 Ford Ranger. Mann attempted to avoid a collision with the vehicle and lost control of his truck and came to a stop in the middle of the roadway. That is when the driver, 18-year-old Hannah Fountain, in a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, who was behind Mann attempted to avoid hitting Mann's truck and lost control of her Jeep and went over an embankment and rolled several times.

The tan vehicle drove off.

Mann complained of chest pain and Fountain complained of head pain.
