Last updated on Tuesday, May 14, 2013

(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured after a crash on 16th Street and Limestone Drive Monday afternoon.

According to a Bedford Police Department report, at the time of the accident, 47-year-old Mary Wagner, of Williams, was traveling east on 16th Street in the left lane and was approaching Limestone Drive and 61-year-old William Flynn, of 1417 10th St., was exiting IU Health Hospital onto 16th Street and was attempting to make a left turn onto 16th Street.

That is when Flynn's 1998 Chevrolet Trailblazer hit the front side of Wagner's 2009 Ford Fusion.

Flynn told police he did not see Wagner's vehicle. Flynn was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

Flynn suffered cuts and bruises and Wagner complained of stomach and hip pain. Both were taken to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.
