(BEDFORD) - Two drivers were cited into court after police stopped them for drag racing on Mitchell Road Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Bedford Police log, officers cited 17-year-old Arie Bottorff, of Bedford for exceeding the posted speed limit. He was traveling 55 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone. He was also cited into court on a promise to appear for participation in a speed contest.
Kathleen Meiser, 18, of Bedford, was also cited for excessive speed and summons to appear in court on a charge of participation in a speed contest.
They are schedule to appear in Superior Court II on May 27 at 8:30 a.m.
