Side Street Areas In Orleans Closed During Festival Week

(ORLEANS) - Orleans Dogwood Festival planners want to remind everyone that for general safety concerns the side street areas around the town park square will be strictly closed off to all vehicle traffic during Dogwood Festival week in the evening hours while the carnival is in operation.

Festival organizers apologize for any inconvenience these driving and parking restrictions may create.

Orleans Chamber of Commerce executive director Robert Henderson says the theme chosen for the 2013 Dogwood Festival is "In Spring, Dogwoods Beckon Us Home."

This year's festival continues non-stop through May 5th.

Some events subject to change or cancellation due to weather. Main St. Entertainment will be moved to Orleans Elementary, SR 337 E in the event of bad weather.
