Police Investigating Counterfeit Money Case

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Police Department and the Secret Service are investigating the report of counterfeit money.

According to the police log, on Tuesday 10:37 a.m. an employee at Bedford Federal Savings & Loan reported receiving counterfeit money and then at 4:05 p.m. an employee at Jackson County Bank reported they were doing the deposit from the IGA store when they discovered a counterfeit $20 and $100 bill.

Anyone with information about the counterfeit money is asked to call the Bedford Police Department.
