(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police Detectives are investigating an allegation that a 15-year-old girl was taken into the woods, held at knife point and made to undress and was then molested.
Police received a call from the girl's parent at 12:55 a.m. this morning reporting a family friend had been at their home in the 500 block of Woodhills Lane and had taken the girl into the woods, threatened her with the knife and then molested her.
The girl was not injured, but was taken to IU Health Hospital to be examined.
After the incident the man had left the home and police were looking for him for questioning. No arrest has been made at this time.
