Last updated on Thursday, May 2, 2013

(NASHVILLE) - An overturned semi caused State Road 135 to close down Wednesday, south of Nashville.

Just after 2:30 pm a semi tractor trailer driven by Kent A. Carr, 48 of Seymour left the roadway on the right side.

That caused the semi to be pulled off the roadway, resulting in the semi jack-knifing and ultimately rolling onto its side.

Carr was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital with head injuries.

State Road 135 was closed for over three hours.

The investigating officer, Trooper Chris Griggs was assisted by ISP Motor Carrier Inspector Kim Judge, the Brown County Sheriff's Department, Van Buren Fire Department, Nashville Fire Department, Columbus Ambulance Service and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
