(OOLITIC) - After a lengthy investigation, Oolitic Deputy Marshal Bill Allen arrested 28-year-old Danielle Ellis on 4 counts of neglect of a dependent and 4 counts of battery on a minor Wednesday night.
"The Department of Child Services was also involved in the investigation," Allen says. "There is not much information I can release at this time because the case is still under investigation."
Ellis, who lives at 153 Lafayette Avenue, was taken to the Lawrence County Jail just before 9 p.m.
Allen was assisted by Indiana State Police Trooper Daniel Crozier and Trooper Shea Teague.
