(MITCHELL) - One person was hurt and another was issued a traffic ticket after a collision on Ind. 37 Friday.

According to a Lawrence County Police reports, 77-year-old Selma Kluender, of Mitchell, was driving her 2002 Saturn south on Ind. 37 in the right lane while at the same time 78-year-old William Bex, of Williams was driving his 2004 GMC truck west on Art Gallery Road and was attempting to cross Ind. 37.

Bex told police there was a van in the passing lane of Ind. 37 traveling south and that after the van passed, he proceeded to cross the highway and that he didn't see Kluender's car.

Bex's truck hit the side of the Saturn, which then hit two road signs and went down an embankment coming to a stop.
