(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Police are investigating the theft of a bag of money from a Cosner's Ice delivery driver.

According to Mitchell Police Chief Mike Hardman, officers received a call at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday reporting the driver was making a delivery at Lost River Liquors when he came out and found a man taking a leather money bag from his truck.

The man was around 40-year-old old and balding. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt and blue jeans and fled on a bicycle. He was last seen going west on Mississippi Avenue.

Hardman says there was between $50 to $60 in the bag.

Police were unable to locate the man and anyone with information should call the Mitchell Police Department.
