Matthew 5:16 Day Today In Orange County

(ORANGE COUNTY) - Matthew 5:16 Day will be celebrated today Saturday in French Lick, Orleans and Paoli.

In French Lick, a free pancake breakfast will be served from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Diane Fleetwood will be singing and there is a free bouncy house for the kids at the Town Green in French Lick.

In Paoli, events include a free pancake breakfast for the community, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Paoli Senior Citizens Center and also the seniors will have a bake sale 8 a.m. to Noon.

During the breakfast citizens can sign up to volunteer for a variety of tasks such as planting flowers at Paoli Health & Living Center or helping out at Orange County Humane Society or doing work in the flower beds around the Orange County Courthouse Square or working with the food drive for the Paoli Community Food Pantry at Paoli Wal-Mart, and other acts of kindness that will be done that day.

Orleans is also celebrating Matthew 5:16 day, with a slate of events scheduled for that day. You can contact Town Hall for more information.

Matthew 5:16 Day is a day to help out others in the community, a day to do good deeds. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
