(JACKSON COUNTY) - One person died Tuesday night when his vehicle crashed in Jackson County.
49-year-old Michael T. Challies crashed his green 1997 Ford pickup truck on U.S. 31 north of County Road 400 North. Challies, of Elizabethtown, crashed just before 6 p.m.
According to police, the pickup was found in a ditch after it went off the road and up an embankment. The cause of the crash wasn't immediately known, but one witness told police Challies may have had a problem with pressure in one of his tires.
