Last updated on Friday, May 3, 2013

(UNDATED) - Lawrence County Coroner Rob Herr was called out four times yesterday in Lawrence County to investigate the death of four people.

The first was at a home on Shawnee Lane. Bedford Police received a call that a 5-year-old boy was not breathing. When police arrived the boy had passed away. Herr says the child had a long history of health problems and dead as a result of those.

The second call was at 12:56 p.m. when an individual went to check on one of their renters. Herr says 49-year-old Edward Phillips was found dead in a trailer on Ind. 158.

The third call came in at 4:13 p.m. at a home on U.S. 50 West near Huron. There 55-year-old Ricky Merry was found.

Then police were called to a home in the 1700 block of M Street and found 49-year-old Greg Miller.

"None of these are criminal cases," Herr says. "We are doing autopsies and a full investigation. But none of the cases involve criminal involvement."
