(LYONS) - The groundbreaking ceremony for the Lyons Area Veteran’s Memorial will be conducted on Saturday, Armed Forces Day at 9 a.m.
The ceremony will be at the future placement site of the memorial, between the Lyons Community Building and fire station.
The ceremony will be preceded by a Veterans Appreciation Breakfast from 6:30 to 9 a.m. at the community building.
