Last updated on Wednesday, May 15, 2013

(WASHINGTON) - Four people, who were arrested by Washington Police officers, are now facing new charges of dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

Just after 6 p.m. Thursday, Washington Police received a complaint of a car which had been sitting by the upper lake at Eastside Park, near a Glenwood Drive home for over a week.

Police traced the license plate and found the vehicle belonged to 23-year-old Joshua Taylor of Montgomery.

Taylor lives at 601 N.E. 21st Street, a house he shares with 22-year-old Eric D. Chestnut.

Officers went to the home and found both men and two women.

After obtaining and executing a search warrant Taylor and Chestnut, along with 22-year-old Alexis Locke, of Washington, and 21-year-old Sara Lengache, of Cannelburg were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

All four were taken to the Daviess County Security Center and were being held on $8,500 bond each. As of Saturday morning all had been released but Taylor.
