Four Washington Residents Arrested On Drug Charges

(WASHINGTON) - Four Washington residents were arrested Friday night after Washington Police found a meth lab.

At 1:40 a.m. Friday, officers noticed a strong odor coming from a home at 902 West Walnut St.

Inside, they found a meth lab and four people who they arrested on drug charges.

Those arrested include:

* Matthew Eric Wininger, 35, Washington, on a warrant out of Pike County for writ of attachment and 16 new charges including manufacturing meth, dealing meth, possession of meth, visiting a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, and 11 counts of unlawful possession of a syringe.

* Marilyn J. Schwartz, 59, five counts of manufacturing meth, dealing meth, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, and 11 counts of unlawful possession of a syringe.

* Terry A. Russell, 56, five counts manufacturing meth, dealing meth, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, and 11 counts of unlawful possession of a syringe.

* Carly Rae Cornwell, 31, five counts of manufacturing meth, dealing meth, possession of meth, visiting a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, and 16 counts of unlawful possession of a syringe.

All four were taken to the Daviess County Security Center were bond was set at $203,300 for Wininger and Russell is being held on a $2,000 bond. Cornwell and Schwartz each face $100,000 bonds.
