(BEDFORD) - The following is a tentative schedule for the flushing of fire hydrants for the City of Bedford.
It is subject to change each day if each day is not completed as scheduled or due to weather conditions.
Misty Adams, Utilities Director advises customers to be cautious on or about these days as the water can be muddy/rusty and will be harmful to laundry as far as staining. If the water becomes discolored in your area, let the cold faucets run for a short while and it should clear up.
Today 15th & E streets to 15th & K streets, North to Breckenridge Road
On Friday 8th & O streets west to X Street, North to 2nd and S streets, Heltonville Rd., Mt
Pleasant Road and Boyd Lane
On Sunday 16th and P streets, east to 17 Street, south to 39 Street, west of M Street, Eastlake
Drive and Crawford Addition, Brook Knoll, Saddle Barn Addition
Remember, if the weather turns bad, the flushing will be cancelled.
