Evangelistic Faith Missions Collecting For Tornado Victims

(BEDFORD) - Bedford's Evangelistic Faith Missions is working to collect need items for the residents of Moore Oklahoma.

They are in cooperation with a local church there located about 2 minutes from the disaster site.

The following items are needed:

  • Toiletries - deodorant; toothpaste; tooth brushes; mouthwash;
  • Linens: new towels & washcloths
  • First-aid items - band-aids, Neosporin, peroxide, etc.
  • Baby care - disposable diapers; baby formula (powder)
  • Nonperishable food items (only sealed items)
  • Laundry detergent, etc,
  • Tools - shovels; rakes; handsaws, hacksaws, hammers, pliers, etc.
  • Chainsaws,
  • Gloves, eye protective goggles, nail aprons
  • Ladders, step ladders, scaffolding, aluminum walk-boards
  • Wheelbarrows, hand trucks, utility carts

The items can be dropped off at the church Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. till 4:30 pm. The church is located on East U.S. 50 just beyond the turn-off to BNL High School.
Items will be collected until Wednesday, May 29 at which time they will be loaded onto a trailer leaving Indianapolis on May 31.
