(BEDFORD) - The deadline is approaching to enter Lawrence County 4-H Fair pageants.
Lawrence County Fair queen entrants must be 17 years old as of June 1 and no older than 21 as of Aug. 16.
Miss Junior Lawrence County Fair queen entrants must have completed third, fourth or fifth grade by the pageant date, July 1.
Queen escort entrants must have completed kindergarten, first or second grade by July 1.
The deadline for the entries is May 20. They can be turned into Lawrence County Extension office, 924 16th St., Bedford, IN.
All entrants must be an active member of an organization in a community, such as 4-H, church groups or scouts.
Scholarship money will be awarded to the queen, first runner-up, second runner-up and Miss Congeniality.
The fair is from July 6-13.
