(BLOOMINGTON) - Children who were playing hide-and-seek found the body of a man under a mobile home in the Heatherwood Trailer Court Sunday night.

Bloomington police Sgt. Joe Crider says the man has been identified as 52-year-old Michael Broll of Bloomington.

His body was found Sunday by children playing hide & seek.

Bloomington Police say investigators are awaiting the results of an autopsy
information about the man or how he died is not being released.

An autopsy is scheduled for today.

Residents told police several neighborhood children were playing hide-and-seek about 8 p.m. when a couple of them noticed feet were sticking out from under a home.

One of the older children notified parents, who called police.

Debra Langley, says her 14-year-old son alerted her to the dead body.
Her son was the oldest among a group of five or six neighborhood children who found the body while trying to hide near the empty trailer.

"They were ducking down and they seen two feet laying out," Langley said.

Once the discovery was made, Langley said her son pulled the children away and reported the discovery to her.

"At first I thought they were joking," she says. "But then I looked at my son and knew something was wrong."

Bloomington police have not identified the body or any information about the investigation.
Police say the mobile home belonged to a man that dated a woman in the neighborhood.
According to police logs, David Terrell called 911 after the children reported what they found.

He saw the body before police arrived and says the body had several bruises on it.
As police search for answers, the Langley's say their son is having a hard time sleeping, but they know he did the right thing.

"Under the circumstances he did a wonderful job for a young man, to get the younger ones away and come back on tell me," Langley says. "We talked to the police and they praised him for his actions telling him he was a hero."
