(BROWNSTOWN) - The search for a new Brownstown Central Community School Corp. superintendent will begin immediately.
That's the only question board President May Ann Spray answered after the board accepted Superintendent Roger Bane's retirement during a meeting Tuesday night at the administration building.
Trustee Rick Rotert referred questions about Bane's decision to leave the district to school attorney Joe Markel.
Markel said Bane's decision to retire should not come as a surprise.
"These things happen all the time," Markel said Wednesday.
