(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after she crashed her scooter on Tunnelton Road Monday afternoon.
48-year-old Karen Jacobsen, suffered minor bleeding on her head after being thrown from the scooter.
According to a Bedford police report, traveling east on Tunnelton Road nearing White's Point when she looked toward the golf course to see family members playing there when she went off the right side of the road and crashed into an embankment.
She was thrown from the scooter and hit her head. She was treated at the scene.
Jacobsen told police she was new at driving a scooter.
