Bedford Man Arrested After Selling Drugs To Informant

(BEDFORD) - 35-year-old Jeffrey Howe of Bedford was arrested on a warrant after allegedly selling Suboxone, a schedule III controlled substance.

Howe was charged with two counts of dealing in a schedule III controlled substance and on two charges of maintaining a common nuisance.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a confidential informant told police Howe was selling the prescription medicine out of his business, Howe Cool Automotive, at 1002 Lincoln Ave.

On May 2, officers provided the informant with money to make a purchase from Howe.

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers positioned themselves to view Howe's business while the drug deal happened. A short time later the informant left the business and police followed. They then meet at an undisclosed location where the informant provided police with a recording of the alleged drug buy and five Subozone, the information had allegedly bought from Howe.

Then again on May 3, officers set up a second drug buy and the same informant allegedly purchased more Suboxone from Howe.
