Bedford Man Arrested After Fleeing Scene Of Accident

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he fled the scene of an accident Thursday night.

According to a Bedford Police reports, 49-year-old Todd Thomas, of Bedford, was traveling east on 18th Street near the intersection of N Street and that is when a 2013 General Motors Sierra truck swerved to miss a parked car and crossed the center line and hit Thomas' 2009 Chevrolet Silverado truck.

The driver of the GM truck, 38-year-old Brett Parker, of Bedford, then drove away from the accident scene.

Thomas followed Parker and called police giving them Parker's location. Parker was stopped by Orleans Police and arrested for driving a vehicle while intoxicated.
