(SEYMOUR) - A rural Seymour man has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography.
Jackson County Sheriff's Department deputies on Wednesday arrested Robert S. Bryant, 45, of North County Road 975E on a Jackson Circuit Court warrant charging him with 10 Class D felony counts of possession of child pornography, according to jail records.
It was the second such arrest in the area this week, although the cases don't appear to be related, police say.
Bryant was booked into jail at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday. He remained there Thursday afternoon awaiting his initial hearing. Bond had not been set.
