Wiley Center Offering Classes

(BEDFORD) - Award-winning artist Wyatt LeGrand will offer a series of classes at the Wiley Art Center, 1402 J St.

Classes will be 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays from April 25 through May 30.

LeGrand uses vivid color and an impressionist technique to create vibrant landscapes, cityscapes, still-life and figurative paintings. He earned a degree in visual arts education from Indiana University and has a studio near Bloomfield. Learn more about the artist by visiting his online studio at

LeGrand paints in oil but will accept students who use other mediums. Beginners are welcome. Cost is $220. To register and receive a materials list, call Phyllis Westfall at 812-275-4734.

The gallery is open on 1 to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
