(MITCHELL) - The annual “Welcome Back Weekend” is set for May 3-5 at Spring Mill State Park.
On Saturday, the park will feature the music of Donna and Wes Griffin from 1-3 p.m. in the Pioneer Village.
The duo will play traditional music on the porch of the Upper Residence.
Donna plays mountain and hammered dulcimers and concertina. Wes plays mountain dulcimer and guitar.
Together they perform traditional Americana music as well as have fun with more contemporary and original music on folk instruments. They have been playing music for the past 25 years throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana. They have performed for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for 15 years in parks and campgrounds all over southern Indiana.
Check bulletin boards throughout the park for scheduled programs and times for this event-filled weekend.
