Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Covers Huron And U.S. 50

Last updated on Tuesday, April 16, 2013

(HURON) - Verizon Wireless expanded its 4G LTE network in Huron in Lawrence County.

The expansion covers the town of Huron, including U.S. 50.

Verizon Wireless 4G LTE provides the fastest available home internet speeds on a mobile phone or tablet - or 10 times faster than 3G speeds. The network enables live video chatting with no buffering delays, sharing photos as they're shot, and downloading songs and PowerPoint presentations in seconds and full-length feature movies in minutes.

All across Indiana, Verizon has spent more than $1.2 billion since the company was formed in 2000 to build up its network infrastructure for Hoosier homes and businesses.

The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network reaches 273.5 million people across the country - close to 89 percent of the U.S. population - and is now available in more than 480 cities.
