(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana has 47 new troopers assigned to State Police Districts that are now on solo patrol.

ISP Sgt. Curt Durnil says, members of the 72nd Indiana State Police Recruit School that graduated on December 21, 2012 received their patrol cars Monday at the Indiana State Police Museum, located at the Indiana State Police Indianapolis District.

The troopers received approximately 917 hours of structured training at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Their curriculum included; administrative subjects, general police subjects, investigations/criminal subjects, criminal and traffic law subjects.
