(BEDFORD) - Nominations are being accepted for Walk With Excellence.
Executive Director of Lawrence County Community Foundation Hope Flores says150 women who are Lawrence County history makers or community shapers received the award and hundreds have been nominated.
The Foundation sponsors the event. The nomination deadline for this year's WWE is Friday. Women can be nominated in one of 11 categories. Nomination letters, 750 words or less, can be sent to LCCF, P.O. Box 1235, Bedford IN 47421 or sent by email to lccf@cfpartner.org.
The WWE awards reception will take place May 2 at 5:30 p.m. in the 4-H Fairgrounds Expo Hall.
Tickets are $12 and available at the Times-Mail, Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce and LCCF.
Proceeds benefit a WWE scholarship for a non-traditional returning female student.
