Motorcycle Ride To Aid Stroke Victim Helen Howell

(MITCHELL) - Helen Howell of Mitchell suffered from a stroke which paralyzed her right side. She will require expensive surgery and rehabilitation.

Becky Ward and a group of motorcycle riders are organizing a charity motorcycle ride and auction to raise money.

Sign ups are from 9-10:30 a.m. May 4 at the Mitchell Community Building. The ride starts at 11 a.m., rain or shine. At 4 p.m., a dinner will start followed by an auction at around 5 p.m. The auction includes a Wii, several gift baskets, carry-on luggage, purses and service and food coupons and gift certificates.

It costs $20 for the ride per bike, which includes dinner, and $5 per passenger. The charge for the dinner and auction only is $6.
