Man Arrested On Drug Charges In Seymour

(CRAWFORD COUNTY) - A traffic stop Thursday morning on Interstate 65 near Seymour left a Crawford County man jailed in Brownstown on drug and trafficking with an inmate charges.

Roger James Grant, 35, of Grantsburg was arrested on charges of trafficking with an inmate, a Class C felony; possession of more than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and obstruction of justice, all Class D felonies; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.

Senior Trooper Stephen Wheeles stopped a 1999 Chrysler driven by Grant around 9 a.m. Thursday on I-65 near the 50-mile marker for a traffic violation, police said.
