(HELTONVILLE) - Firefighters from Shawswick and Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Departments battled a barn fire Tuesday night.
According to police logs the fire started just before 7 p.m. after receiving a call from Keith Hunter reporting the fire on Fairview Mundell Church Road.
Firefighters believe the barn was hit by lightening.
When firefighters arrived on the scene the barn, which was full of hay, was engulfed in flames.
The barn was destroyed.
