According to police, 80-year-old Walter Coffman, of 1304 19th St., was driving a 2013 Honda north on R Street crossing John Williams Boulevard when he failed to yield to right of way.

That is when O'Brien, of 2477 Vinegar Hill Road, was traveling west on John Williams Boulevard in a 2005 Toyota police say she could not stop in time to avoid the crash and her car hit the back passenger side of Coffman's vehicle.
